Jean Paul Sartre’s ‘Liberation’ a lesson to News Paper Industry

Jean Paul Sartre’s ‘Liberation’ a lesson to News Paper Industry
News paper represents development of thoughts — the stark, straightforward rendering of information and news which is neatly labeled. IT cultivates readers to be a vice citizen.  Most people believe the newspaper will never be replaced by a computer screen. Recent development and morbid expectations of readers have made huge losses to news paper industry.
French Revolution gave freedom, industry, work and concept of salary. Today people from all over the world are global citizens and we owe a huge due to French Revolution. Today when some half learned follies talk and could not write a correct spelling of literature, I pity. It was literature who saved mankind from savage age of slavery.
All Mass Communication students should understand the importance of ‘pamphlet’ which is used to spread thoughts and support for French Revolution.  Pamphlets were used as an advertising of local drama only. News paper and Pamphlet shaped human history and motivated many philosophers.
Jean Paul Sartre who started Libration a news paper in France is considered to be a great French philosopher and existentialist of 20th Century. He got his inspiration from Immanuel Kant, Hegel, Jean-Jacques Rousseau  , Voltaire. He understood the power and motivation of literature and news paper.
After Second World War people from Europe were more concern about their existence and so do the existentialism. Albert Camus who is famous as a reporter who is also considered to be a great existentialist, Camus and Sartre were friends. They were the iconic figures of 20th century their conflict of ideas were discussed all over the world. Both received Nobel award for literature. They both worked as editor in chief. Albert Camus worked for ‘Combat’ news paper and Jean Paul Sartre has contributed to many news papers and started ‘Libration’ a news paper which is even popular today.
Today when in internet, online journalism has inclined readers more lazy and smart phone make available everything on finger touch. Today’s reader is more confused by the bombardment of information. Online readers normally throw a glance on headlines. They are not regular and generous readers of newspaper. News paper is even today considered to be an authentic medium. It needs a great skill to write in news paper. There are colleges and students who take keen interest in writing of Albert Camus and Jean Paul Sartre. It is worth reading the essays and writing. Albert Camus’s 1951 book ‘The Rebel’ and Jean Paul Sartre’s   ‘Nausea’, ‘What is Literature’ ,’ Existentialism and human emotions’ motivated the journalists of next generation.

When I find news in ‘The guardian’ about the Libration journalists fight investors – could be a lesson to learn for all news paper journalists all over world including India. 2014 has brought many challenges in front of all news paper industry.  Many news papers from all over the world are running in losses. It is a pivotal issue of great concern. History has proved, news papers have built nations. News paper is a process where any information is checked, verified, selected, tasted and then printed. It is considered to be most authentic medium which cultivate reader to be a good and vice citizen. It works like a guiding star. It is news paper who helps develop the ideology of individual reader and these generous readers built nation.
